This past weekend our Truth in Nature South Carolina Chapter held it’s April program for single parent boys.  The weather was great, the food was good, but the time spent building bonds and strengthening relationships was even better.  On Friday evening we kicked things off at the Hall’s property where we enjoyed some food and fellowship.  We ate some dinner, sat around a fire, and wet a hook in the pond.  During this time in God’s Creation it was a good time to catch up on what has happened since the last program and spend a little man time together.  We called it a night and got ready for Saturday morning.

Saturday morning we were up and ready early as we grabbed some breakfast and hit the pond for some fishing.  We enjoyed the time around the pond catching fish and talking life.  After the fishing slowed down we tested our skills on the sporting clays.  Everyone got some great shots off and proved to better themselves shooting wise as the day went on.  We ended up with a chicken kabob lunch before heading home.  We want to thank the Hall’s for their hospitality and allowing the use of their property.

This was a great program as we got to pray together and over each other, build relationships, and enjoy God’s Creation away from life’s distractions.

Please continue to pray for our programs in all of our locations.  If you know of a boy in the Columbia, SC area that is being raised in a single parent home please contact us to get them involved today!
