This past weekend our Georgia Chapter of Truth in Nature held it’s annual 3D Archery Shoot.  It was a great program and time as our mentors invested into the lives of these young men from single parent homes.  We kicked it off on Friday night where Leslie Brooks had prepared a great taco bar dinner.  Her and Carrie Davis served the meal and all of our boys enjoyed it.  After dinner we settled in and had a devotional by Nick White of the Haralson County FCA.  It was truly a challenging testimony of what God has done in his life.  We wrapped up the evening with a little wiffle ball before turning in for the night.

Saturday morning we woke up to another great breakfast of cinnamon rolls and breakfast casseroles.  It was a great meal and we got full before starting our day of 3D Archery.  Groups were set with 2-3 boys and 2 mentors.  Each group was allowed ample time on the archery warm up range before walking our six station 3D Archery course.  The boys were able to shoot at deer, turkey, beaver, and coyote targets.  It was hot, but a great program and time in God’s Creation.  During the time walking the property to each station the mentors took some time out to talk to the boys more in a small group setting about their walk with Christ and anything they may be going through.  We wrapped up the day with a dutch oven lunch prepared and served by Tom, Senga, and Emma Veale!  It was great!

Our 3D Archery Winners were Daniel N, Isaac, and Austyn.  Congrats boys!
