This past quarter was a great one as we wrapped up our summer programs and moved into our Fall offerings for fatherless and single parent boys.  God continues to be faithful and use these programs to reach, inspire, support, and engage young men through our mentors and time spent with them in His Creation.  We thank each and every one of you who helped make this a successful quarter by donating your time, resources, or financial support.  You are appreciated and are investing into the lives of the future generation of men of this country.

Our newest Chapter in Carrollton, GA began programs this quarter.  In July Program Director Craig Jacobs held a Fishing program followed by September Archery Shoot.  Program Director Jeff Benefield of our LaGrange, GA Chapter led an August river Kayaking and September West Point Lake Fishing program both of which were very successful.  In our Dallas, GA 1 Chapter, Program Director Lee Hurley led our annual Archery Challenge and Cast and Blast to get our boys there ready for the upcoming fall deer season.  Program Director James Hipp of our NE Atlanta, GA Chapter held some great programs of Pioneer Skills and a Dove Shoot.  Down in Houma, LA Program Director Kenneth Hobbs took his boys on an epic Frogging Program and joined up with Program Director Ronnie Alpha from our Bush, LA Chapter for a Canoeing program.  Bush, LA also held their annual Cast and Blast to ready the boys for the fall deer season as well.  Over in the Carolinas, Columbia Program Director Daniel Beckham led an Archery & Skeet Program along with a Dove Shoot, while Apex Program Director Cory Bowes led a River Float and Farm Clean Up Day.  Up in Newberry, MI Program Director Jim Duflo held a Riverboat Program and opened our Fall Deer Season with a bonus Deer Hunt for 2 young men.

Again, this was a great quarter and many prayers were answered.  We had our Apex, NC receive exclusive use of a 60+ acre farm for their camp home base.  Our LaGrange Chapter received a much needed gravel donation for their camp.  We announced 2 new chapters.  Edward Estes joins our team as the Program Director for our Dallas, GA 2 Chapter.  Tommy Waldrep joined our team as Program Director of our Franklinton, LA Chapter and we held a successful open house to kick this chapter off to round out the month.

The heart and most exciting part of this ministry is when we see young men make a decision for Christ or move forward with a profession of faith in baptism.  In Dallas, GA 1 Lee Hurley baptized one of his young men Kaiden and in Newberry, MI Jim Dulfo baptized 2 of his young men Dawson and Noah.  This is why we do what we do!  We rejoice when we see God working in these young men’s lives.  Please continue to pray over our programs, mentors, and boys as we close out 2019.  Please look for ways to get involved and help make a difference in the life of a fatherless young man.
